in career management. How do recruiters and applicants align on expectations during the recruiting and hiring process?

You will learn:
1. How automation affects the communication, screening, and review process today - and what you might need to verify about a company's ATS or referrals from a third party! Engagement starts long before your new employee onboard!
2. Latest trends in use of LinkedIn and personal networking - and how recruiter and job seeker expectations might be better synchronized. Are you using this resource efficiently for talent acquisition? How does networking affect your DEI&B initiaitves?
3. The process of negotiation is setup long before an offer is made. Factors such as appearance and behavior have impact long before the offer is on the table. Recognize factors that might be affecting your DEI intentions. Recognize factors that might be affecting your DEI intentions in both hiring and promotion/career pathing decisions.
4. Breakthroughs in AI for career management - tools business, education, and individuals can explore for self-development in career direction and communications. What can support employee career development in the 2020s?

Erin Gregg , SHRM-SCP is an HR professional with a decade of experience in numerous roles. She has worked in a wide variety of industries, interfacing with businesses from fortune 100s to small family owned operations. Her passion is to help others succeed. Erin is the “fixer” you need to optimize your communication and job search.

Dr. Mary M Rydesky, SHRM-SCP has gained experience in HR management as a practitioner, consultant, trainer, and educator at the university level. She is a member of the National Career Development Association and the Association for Training and Development as well as SHRM and has been published on recruiting, hiring, and job searching in the digital age.

 "Rozzy" Njeri, MBA, has long-term experience in people management as a Program and Operations Manager with startups and NGOs in project management, operations, Partnerships & Relationship Management, monitoring, and evaluation as well as capacity building of individuals, communities, and organizational programs. She offers insight into AI for career management and employee relations.

Kimberly Weed, SHRM-SCP draws on 
20 years working in Human Resources  with specialization in Learning and Development, Organizational Development (DEI), and Career Coaching. An accomplished trainer and speaker, she has certifications in the Gallup Strengths tool, DISC, and other tools.

The following organizations have pre-aproved credit for this workshop.  Persons who are currently SHRM or HRCI certified may earn 4 credits!
