Dr. Dave Rambow

Emeritus Professor of Management, WBUOnline Wayland Baptist University

I hold a Doctor of Education in Leadership from the University of La Verne.  For the past 30 years, I have instructed graduate courses in strategic management, strategies for HR management and management and leadership.  While residing in Alaska, I have held the positions of College Relations Director and SHRM Foundation Director for the Alaska State SHRM Council.  In 2018, I was recognized by NHRMA with the Distinguished Member Award.  I have provided numerous presentations at NHRMA conferences, Alaska State HR Conferences, and at the SHRM Chapters of Anchorage and Wasilla.  I am passionate about the potential HRM provides towards advancing the competencies of a workforce.  The operative word is “Competency.”  I believe that competent managers produce competent employees.
