Tackling Unconscious Bias in Organizations

– or at least bruising its knees!

Participants will journey alongside Dr. Gordon as she discusses the business case for an inclusive culture. Dr G  inclusion will guide participants through a conversation about the value of DEI, growing understanding of DEI’s impact, and some steps to help participants illuminate then diminish a bias or two.




Dr. Kim Gordon, SHRM-SCP, SPHR


Dr. Kim Gordon is regarded as a subject matter expert (SME) in Human Resources and Organizational Development. Dr G has private sector experience in both a Fortune 100 company where she directed workforce planning for a facility of 1400 and then managed the global program for emerging leaders. 

 Dr G joined the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith (UAFS) in 2006 to teach both subjects while serving as the university’s HR-OD SME at the Center for Economic Development.  Her education includes a doctorate in workforce development in education, master’s in ethics and leaders, and bachelor’s in organizational management. Dr G is certified as senior human resource professional by both SHRM and HRCI. She is a certified life coach and holds facilitator certifications for a handful of programs.
