As part of our programs to educate HR professionals on employment of individuals with criminal records, we have partnered with the Partners Re-Entry Center for this event. It is an extremely eye-opening and educational event.
Join a group of HR professionals and community members on a "Reentry Walk" and learn more about the process of being released into the community from jail. Meet at the Anchorage Jail's parking lot by the buses at 8:30 am. We'll finish at Bean's Cafe around 11:30 am.
There are several stops along the way (no, you won't be walking for 3 hours straight) where additional information is provided at each organization.
